About Me

Hi there! Welcome to Part Time Chef.
I am Shruti. I am an IT professional by day who loves to cook. I am the cook, author, photographer, food stylist behind this blog.

I ve always been a foodie. Relocating from India to Europe a few years ago evoked my interest in baking and other cuisines of the world. I found myself enjoying reading, following food blogs and cookbooks. Eventually I was motivated to build my own blog.I started my blog to keep track of my experiments in the kitchen that I carry out in my free time(that is when my kids are asleep!).

Being a Lacto Vegetarian, my Blog focuses on vegetarian cuisine from around the world and egg less baking. Having been brought up in Southern India, you will also find traditional Indian recipes from time to time. All the recipes featured are tried and tested(and Tasted) by me.

A note about using my photos or content:
I spend a lot of time and effort in cooking, writing, photographing and publishing these recipes. Please do not use any content or photographs without my permission.

Got Suggestions..questions..? Or just want to say hello..?
